Nursing Assistant (training for CNA)

The Nursing Assistant Program prepares individuals to provide basic patient care by teaching them skills such as bathing, feeding/meal support, vital signs.

Student will learn how to transfer patients from bed to chair, most importantly bedside care. Mobility assistance, all with hands-on training and supervision.

Students will learn anatomy and physiology, infection control, hand washing, patient safety, and communication skills.

Students that pass the program are eligible to take the state administered national competency exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

 

Tuition:

$700 3-week course

Books, labs, materials, equipment, practice test, and national exam included in the tuition.
