
EKG Technician
EKG (Electrocardiogram) Program teach the students on how to perform the non-invasive tests that measures the electrical activity of the heart to help diagnose potential cardiac issues by recording the heart rhythms and rate.
Students will learn how to accurately attach electrodes to the patient, ensuring they are comfortable and positioned correctly for the test.
Observing patient blood pressure during the EKG procedure.
Analyzing the recorded electrical signals to identify any abnormalities in the heart.
Understanding how to operate the machine and placement techniques. Effective communication with the patients, location of the heart and its electrical conduction pathways with hands-on training and supervision.
